First Day
Opening day went well as far as I know. We seemed to be constantly busy, but yet our guests didn't have to wait more than 10 mins to make an order. I was supposed to be a server, but ended up doing the register making order for the folks who didn't know what to do about the huge menu hanging behind me. Why did I get put on the register, well some lady wasn't really cutting it and we were hella busy so they thought I should do it because I'm loud and some what tech savvy. Don't get me wrong I messed up my fair share of times, probably because I was only trained for 5 mins on that thing. Oh well, I have my flow down now so I am ready to go today.
The only thing that sucks is my trainer is kinda a bitch, or at least she doesn't have that welcoming you'll get it better next time smile. Oh well, I guess she has to be a hard ass, but it's not hot so she can stop at any moment if she likes. :-)
Mom leaves today for her trip. Luckily yesterday I was nice and pleasant before she left so maybe she will bring me neat things from her trip. So I'm up earlier than usual so I can get ready and take her to the airport.
