*Another day, another source of confusion for James Hook: he's gone back to studying that laptop and hoping that Victor will at some stage show him how it works correctly. He eventually pushes it aside with a sigh and moves away from the desk to sit down in his chair, pushing books aside.

Ali knocks on the door, stopping abruptly to use that hand to stifle a yawn. She hasn't been sleeping well for a few days, and after last night's insomnia her weariness is starting to show. Still, she's got a smile, and is cradling a package in the crook of her arm.
