all is good. i'm okay. saw mum, ate half her dinner.
something really nice happened last night. grim and i were going along one of the motorways. we come up to the tolls. the lane we were going into had just had to be shutdown for some reason, and the next one was being opened up for the line that was forming. there was a bit of confusion and a girl and her passenger sort of edged up next to us because she couldn't get over to the other lanes. i'm sitting there being silly going "yeah, that's right. go on in ahead. fucking women drivers." grim being the nice guy he is, waved her in before us despite my protests. i'm still sitting there continuing my rant, "yeah and wash your car maybe once a year."
we come up to the tollbooth and grim holds the money out for the collector. "sorry mate, i can't accept your money," he says. grim groans thinking that there was now soemthing wrong with this line. the man continues, "the young lady in front was so grateful that you waved her through, she paid your toll as well."
i took back all my mean words and grim got the last laugh on how great his karma is when it comes to driving. so hey, maybe there are still decent people in the world.
