Things you can do in an airport without ID:

Apply for a WestJet Credit Card (they will pounce on you as you pass them for the third time because your flight has been cancelled and you’re ping-ponging between check-in and customer service, and their kiosk is situated ideally in the middle of Air Canada’s ping-pong court).

Given the rest of the litany this morning, I wonder if you even would have.

Hard to say!

Landing in Toronto without it would have been horrible one way or another, anyway, I can't believe I did that.

have a wonderful Christmas in Toronto!

And the game industry does need people with real writing skills, be it for a magazine editor, a players guide writer, or the person who actually comes up with a game's story-line and character dialog.

blah, blah, blah...

Glad your layover worked to your advantage. Sleeping in O'hare after missing 4 connecting flights and loosing my luggage in the process during my OCAD interview comes to mind as the alternative. At least they fed you? ;D

Hope you are able to relax a bit. You deserve it. :)

At least they fed me! ;D And I didn't have to sleep in an airport anywhere, which is always a plus.
Especially O'Hare, which I just remember as being very, very hectic, underground light tunnels aside.

Relaxing was had. <3 I hope the end of your year went well, too!
