Mm! Thanks for the nice words in the notes! Thanks for writing this! For some reason, I really liked John's cameos, and strangely enough, the description of Michelle directing Jeff about cooking sticks in my mind -- the strangest things stick around, huh? And, of course, the description of Michelle's pantie drawer made me giggle (it's like, three AM, but I'm pretty sure I normally sound this creepy). I just enjoyed this whole thing. And you said poorly written. Pshaw.

I don't know. I just scrolled back up and realized that I'm really not entirely sure why I enjoyed John cameos so much. Bias much? But maybe it was this: "A general dryness hangs in the air: dry chicken, dry rice, dry humour-- mostly from John, and poorly executed to boot." And it like, tainted all his other appearences.

I could so feel your Michelle. And just the atmosphere, generally. It was almost under-written - in that you could feel it rather than actually see or hear on a tighter focus.
