Try and fix what you've broken
There's just no point.
We're all going to hell.
Try and mend what you've torn up.
Be a man and fight until the death.
Be human and realize, not everyone wants to die.
There's no excuse, no more reminders.
We're all living in hell.
I find you slowly sinking tonight,
but I'm too far away to hold your head above the water.
You may drown, but just know in your heart
This wasn't how it was meant to end.
Abruptly put this life through a whirl wind.
Everyone's here and staring at me.
There's fake trees lining the halls.
There's blood all over the bedroom walls.
We came to stay, but now we can't.
This place isn't safe and life is a game of chance.
The walls of my heart are bearing thin
My mind and my soul are both caving in.
You've walked in the house with your shoes on again.
You came into the room with the hammer in hand
It wasn't necessary, it was just for effect.
So now that I sit and realize
what really occured, I'll lean back and hypothesize.
Too many theories, too many foul words.
I try to keep my mouth clean but my mind's full of dirt.
Something small (is all) it would take it improve my mood.
Nothing small, only walls, and cities separate us
under this bastard moon.
His mother has gone, and the sun was mine.
She has gone down and I'm here to reply
To an empty sky.
