So, I'm still here. I'm still alive.
I'm kind of bored a lot of the time.
I feel like my brain is never going to start really working again.
I've been to Athens I think four times in less than a month; I've gone every single week. Yesterday I went with my dad and he was all "you just need to move here and then pound the pavement 'til you find a job!" and I was like "I know, right?" and then he was all "you never know what's going to happen, that's why you have to pray" and I was like "........"
Awkward.
So anyway, I'm working on getting down there ASAP; I'm going back on Friday to look at more apartments.
As a result,
meat-selling has been basically pushed onto Claire. ;)
I went to Cincinnati for my cousin Jimmy's high school graduation party and all the relatives were asking me what was up with my life and whatever and I was like "well, I quit my job, moved back to Ohio, and I'm starting grad school in September," and then they all said "oh, that's cool, so what else is new?" and then I said, "well, just, y'know, everything I just said, like, my entire life is changing but whatever." Yay family.
Otherwise....not much. Beth and I went to Starbucks yesterday after I got back from Athens and we were sitting outside next to this table full of obnoxious German (we think, anyway) guys. It was weird, because one does not normally see real, live, German-speaking Germans in Zanesville, Ohio. So that was exciting.
