(no subject)
This would be take two of this entry. I'm sufficiently bored.
So, recap of vacation (of which there is one more day). Just over three weeks of high school left. Crazy.
Friday started off vacation at the space. Emmy, Joe, Paolo and I went to see Carson play, but, we didn't see him. We left before he played. We went to Joe's house and played some pool. I believe Paolo and I won, but it didn't really look that way. Oh, and on the way home I thought I was being pulled over by a cop, but when I pulled over he yelled at me to move more and then drove right by me. Bullet dodged. I hate cops. Saturday I went to see Spamalot with Kym, my parents and two of their friends. We got a really delicious Italian dinner at a place called Bella Vita right by the Hard Rock Cafe. Clay Aiken surprised me with his not sucking. His voice seems better suited, to me, for broadway then for pop. Sunday there was hanging out and mostly uneventful. Paolo and I didn't finish watching Spiderman 2 (a reoccuring thing this vacation...not finishing movies...). Monday there was chicken teryaki and cone zone with Kym and Emmy. And we played football at Eisenhower with not as many people as we had originally hoped (Emmy, Joe, Paolo, Mingo, Kenny, and Cass who only took pictures and didn't play). Emmy tackled me multiple times... it was quite fun. And then we went to Shiny Diner afterwards. Emmy, Joe, Paolo and I joined Heather and others to see Prom Night, which was a ridiculously bad movie. Emmy slept over and we started to watch Robin Hood Men in Tights, but the dvd wasn't really working for us and we passed out so movie #2 that went unfinished. Tuesday I went to see SUNY Purchase with my mom. I actually made a decision about something in my life. And, unlike what I thought I would end up doing to pick which college I'm going to (which was taking the ones that accepted me, maybe weeding out a few and then playing "eenie-meenie-miney-moe"), I am sure where I want to go. Wednesday Emmy and I biked from downtown to the beach and play frisbee, skipped rocks, etc. and rode back to Fowler to play a nice 10 or 15 minute game of tennis. I got really sunburned. Yay. It was decided to round people up to go to Dudley town, but it ended up being Paolo, Kym and me. And then we didn't even go to Dudley town. We researched haunted places in CT and then just decided to watch Sleepy Hollow and make brownies. An hour later, the brownies were done and the DVD player was finally working. But make this moive #3 to go without being finished. We were all falling asleep so we turned it off. Thursday Emmy, Paolo and I went to the beach. Bikes were again involved. They threw sand at me like mean people. I saw Casey for a little bit. We gossiped like old women like we always do. =) I went to her voice lesson. And I didn't get to tape Docor Who, so I missed it. =( Then we had a rehearsal for Jekyll & Hyde. Scripts and music finally came. I'm excited. We did a readthrough and worked on some music. I now have a greater love for the song "His Work and Nothing More" or whatever it's called. It's different everywhere. Friday I went to Walnut Beach with Emmy and her mom. We had the ipod dock this time. We walked practically to Silver Sands and our feet were not too appreciative. I wore SPF 45. =) We went lazer tagging at Dadd's Xtreme sports or whatever which was kind of sketchy. Again, with not as many people we had been hoping for. Emmy, Paolo, Mike and I played frisbee in the parking lot for practically almost an hour waiting for Joe and his friend Tom to show up. They had a ridiculous story. My gun wouldn't work during the first game so I was just a target. Our team lost. But, we did three teams the second game: Paolo and me, Emmy and Joe, and Tom by himself. We won. =) I should say Paolo won. We played pool back at my house. Then we were sneaky. =)
As for Saturday I haven't done much except relaxing and reading.
So, I made my decision. Next year I am going to Hofstra University. I'm happy and completely sure about my choice for once in my life. I'm really excited for the whole college thing. We just need to pay the deposit and look at apartments for Kym and me.
