I'm a big movie fan, so this year I've decided to keep track of just how many movies I actually see. These will only be ones I've seen for the first time in 2009. Feel free to comment on my choices or leave suggestions!

When Marie Antoinette came out I wanted so much to watch it!, but I couldn't do it *cries*, I'll buy it or maybe I'll watch it online :D

Marie Antoinette is such a beautiful film, definately worth a look!

I love the photography of that film, and also I've seen some dresses that Kristen used and they were so beautiful!.
Oh, and I suggest, if you haven't seen it, Pride&Prejudice :D it's an amazing film :)

the sets and costumes are gorgeous!

no, I haven't seen it yet. however, I love Keira Knightley as well as period films, so I'll be sure to see it soon :)

it was so good. I'm actually really disappointed that Kate (or Leo for that matter, he was amazing!) didn't get an Oscar nomination for this. I really hope she wins, I have yet to see The Reader, but I'm sure she's amazing in it.

I definitely agree! They were fantastic, and it's such a shame that the Academy always overlooks them (especially Leo. I mean, no nomination for Titanic? Come ON!). I saw The Reader about a month ago, and I absolutely loved it! The story was touching, and of course Kate was fantastic. She really made me feel the sadness of a character that was not all that likeable in general. That's her gift, though :D
