Challenge 9 over at genre_land is all about re-casting, which I love! The challenge was to take 3 films and re-cast one of the lead roles.
The Twilight Saga;
Anne Hathaway as Isabella "Bella" Swan
I've never been much of a Kristen Stewart fan, she's not what I imagined as Bella while reading the series. To me, she doesn't bring enough emotion to the character, her portrayal is very flat. I think Anne could bring much more emotion and range to the character and give Bella some dimension. Although age-wise she doesn't fit the role, I think she could pull it off. I actually don't mind Robert Pattinson (I think he's a great actor and capable of much better things after Twilight) and think they would work very well together. I honestly think the whole Twilight saga has become somewhat laughable, but there are some good actors in the existing cast. It could've been much better with some tweaking!
The Time Traveler's Wife;
Leonardo DiCaprio as Henry DeTamble
I really loved the original and Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams were amazing. However, the idea of Leo and Rachel together ♥
Leo would be great in this particular role. I think they would have this amazing chemistry. Wouldn't they look gorgeous together?

Jonathan Tucker as John Tyree
These two need to work together, so adorable! Jonathan Tucker is a really amazing yet completely underrated actor. I first saw him in The Black Donnelly's and loved him! He does really well with the drama/romance kind of thing. I really wish he was recongnized more, so underrated! He could be a lot of depth to this character. Also, he and Amanda would be so cute together!
