I've successfully survived the first week of school. Though my resolution this year was to end my procrastination, I find myself knee-deep in things that need to be done before the upcoming week. New Year's resolutions never seem to stick with me, despite my efforts to keep to them alive.
I feel as though I've been in school forever, and at the same time it seems to be passing before my eyes. I'm glad a three-day weekend is coming our way, complete with a marching band parade early on Saturday. It's been a while since my hair's been french-braided. Seeing you today was a blissful meeting, as it always is after an absence. I could probably go on, going in-depth in my emotions, but I'll keep that letter a secret, since you're probably tired of listening to me repeat the same things. I'll lock it up in a closet in my mind, among the other letters I never sent you.
Oh, and anyone willing should audition for the "Rock the Nock" (yes, lame) talent show on January 19, after school in the auditorium, sponsored by your favorite Junior Advisory Board. I get special consideration if I get people to come in and provide us humor. Hehe...so, all you singers and instrumentalists, and anyone else with "special talents" should stop by...YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.
I'm donating blood Tuesday.
