I just hydroplaned on a hill, into another car!
The light was green but the car in front of him wasn't going, and i wasn't going very fast, but when i tried to stop.. nope! car wanted to slide on the wet pavement inspite of me pumping the breaks (for my nice, non-anti-lock breaks) and just bumped right into the guy in front of me. thankfully, absolutely no damage was done to his car/himself. he just got out and looked and was like 'don't worry, it's fine, no damage." and was also older and mexican and sympathized with the fact that the roads are wet. but they aren't that wet.
as for my car, my hood is a little deformed and sticks up a little on the sides, but other than that it's fine. and some scratches to the front bumper, but they may have already been there.
and just today i was talking with my father how i've been lucky (unlike my sister) in not damaging cars/getting in accidents, cause the only other thing i did that had to be fixed was blowing a tire. damnit.
as for the rest of life, it's been pretty good. five classes, two labs, and three clubs are keeping me very busy, which is nice.
i regret not doing anything/going anywhere this weekend because, as it turns out, i had nothing to do the whole time, it just didn't hit me until it was too late.
