stupid insomnia...
that means I won't be awake for class tomorrow. Ugghhh...and it's the last day. Mental note: no more caffeine just cause it tastes good. So, playing with live journal and maybe reading some Nora Roberts (since Natalie got me into her stuff).
So, random thoughts...well, I've decided that smoking IS a deal breaker after all. Ok, there are other reasons too, but the smoking thing really got to me too. So, now, whenever I see someone smoking I react a bit stronger than usual as a result. I'll quit after a couple weeks. But, seriously, why do people smoke? It turns a very attractive person into a not so attractive perosn.
I finished reading Snow Crash, which as it turns out is Post Cyberpunk, not cyberpunk (which explains why I didn't hate it...). I about died laughing while I was reading it though. There's a part where one of the main characters, this girl Y.T. has sex with the bad ass of the book. And, basically, she's so into fooling around with him that not only does she forget about birth control, but she forgets about her dentata. To quote her thoughts when she realizes it "She has finally remembered what that nagging thing was that bothered her for a moment, right before the actual moment of fucking. It was not birth control. It was not a hygiene thing. It was her dentata. The last line of her personal defense." Well, what's a dentata you ask? And why does it matter if she forgets it? Well...a dentata is a pressure release tranquilzer...and guess where she hides it. So, they have sex and he falls asleep right after...except he didn't really fall asleep; he got tranqed...OUCH!
Can't wait for Season 4 of Alias...although if there are any more plot holes that I can drive an F-150 (The F-150! hehe...Ford probably did not intend that blatant product placement to make me smirk every time I see an F-150...) through like S3's brilliant change in how Vaughn's Dad supposedly died I'm gonna be irked. C'mon PTB, you can't do that...how can a character die protecting a character that wasn't even conceived at the time he died?!? Too many plot holes and characters acting uncharacteristically in S3...
On the other hand, I've been watching Alias so much that I can recognize when they reuse a location. Like in S3's Facade they use the same Japanese garden as they use in S2's Counteragent. And in S3's Facade the exact same stairwell is used from S2's Truth Takes Time (where Sark shoots Vaughn). Not to mention the random hallways and stairwells, lol. Oh, yeah...I've been watching too much...nah!
