I wasn't exactly motivated to write anything today, but I'm mad at tv. I really just don't like it. I'm not going to lie; I enjoy watching Real World and Maroon 5 videos just as much as the next girl, but let me talk about a little show referred to as the OC. And for once in my life, I am 100% serious.
I'm not getting cable whenever I move out. If my roommate can't take it, he can pay the dorkass bill himself or deal with it.

Television has gone to hell; intelligent stories and engaging characters have all been sacrificed for ratings and the almighty dollar.

So instead of blowing my $40/month on the Idiot Box, I'll blow it on DVDs of awesome shows that formerly reigned supreme. Like MacGyver. Holy shit I can't wait til I get a job.

When I read your entry, it made me go "eh??" (Which I don't do often.) I don't love Elliot Smith, but to put his music on the OC?? What the shiite?! AND they go to a Modest Mouse concert? You have to be mistaken, it must have been Mickey Mouse, because Modest Mouse is just too sacred for those icky OC lovers to even come close to. I guess "indie" is the new fad, huh? Goodbye Simple Plan.

You know want to what pissed ME off today? In Elle Miss or whateva the crap magazine my sister had, they had this huge article on Conor Oberst about how stylish and mysterious he is...I was like, "What, bitches!? Eat cashmere!" I was angry.
