Tara's trying, but there's only so much she can do, she says. Without more information to go on, there's any number of rituals or artifacts that could've teleported Buffy and everyone else away to God knows where.

What's this fuckarow? Geez, can't even have a nice routine patrol anymore. All I wanted was a chance to stop thinkin' about... stuff... and there's a throwdown in the graveyard.

"Hey!" I yell sharply, gettin' closer to the struggle in progress.

*Kate glances up, hearing a woman's shout.*

*She bounces to her feet, and kicks Riley again, snapping the handle off the knife stuck through his thigh, and she heads into the trees with a leap and a snarl.*

Well, damn. It's Buffy's guy. I approach him, layin' on his back like a waterbug.

"What was that? Uh, guess you need a little help, huh?"

Riley looks up, barely conscious, hand clamped above his thigh, trying to staunch the flow of blood.

T-tourniquet. Gonna...bleed out...

Glad the sight of blood doesn't bug me. I yank off my shirt, glad I picked today to wear a sports bra underneath. Rippin' it at the seams, I wrap it around his leg and use all my Slayer strength to tie it off tight.

"Ri? C'mon, hang with me here." Wonder if I'm gonna have to carry him?

'M ok...just...get me back to th' house...and then find that...vampire...

"Alright, you got it."

I heft him up and grab him around the waist, helpin' him limp along, lookin' around the whole time for signs of impending vamp attack. We should be back to the house in no time.
