I was very happily in my bed, reading, while there was all this shrieking and goings-on outside. Did you all have a wonderful Samhain? I know I did. (For your information, I read a translation of Medea. Wonderful, wonderful stuff.)
What's all this with frogs and snails and bats? Millicent, what is going on?
I really should get a piece of sticky tape and write 'MUST NOT FORGET JOURNAL' on it and then paste it to my forehead so I can be reminded every time someone asks why I have a piece of Spellotape on my head even though it's not Spellotape.
I have all my homework done, Muggle and wizarding, especially that last essay for Arithmancy. I hope two thousand words over isn't too long, since the teachers must be dreadfully busy. I offer tutoring sessions as well, since I'm always in the library every night anyway.
I think I shall do some beading. Perhaps an anklet. They don't show under robes.
