Every year, the research laboratory for whom I work has a door decorating contest. Prizes go to "Most Festive," "Most Creative," and "Most Disturbing."
I wanted to do something, but I couldn't really think of anything, until the lab director walked by my door on Monday and said, "I thought for sure this door would be decorated."
That was all the kick in the pants I needed.

After buying 300 sheets of construction paper and using a little elbow grease, I have a four-foot mural of "Nightmare Before Christmas"'s Jack Skellington and Zero (as a snow-dog) with the message "Scary Christmas!" written in Nightmare font.
I'm assured by most people that I am a shoe-in for at least two of the three awards.
Pictures and results to follow, later.
