As a starting, blanket statement, I would like to thank all those who helped to make Thanksgiving at our house a success this year. I certainly wasn't among them, but I'd like to thank those who were.
That said, allow me to regale the rest of you with the events of Thanksgiving at the Ford House this year.

1: Yes, you did some messing up. But now you know, and knowing is half the battle. To modify your rules I reflect on my LAN party rules for taking care of a group:
a: Unless you're here by Noon don't expect to be fed.
b: If you don't BRING anything, don't expect to be fed.
c: If you don't help out atleast a little with food preperation or cleaning up in some way, DO NOT EXPECT TO STAY LONG MOTHERFUCKER!!
d: If you say you "might" come, expect us to believe you are not comging at all.
Live by those rules and there won't be any confusion.
2: Yes, group activities are a must, but helping the cook comes before any partying after thanksgiving. That's just my family thing and I don't blame you at all. Buuuut yeah. The less stuff you have to do after gaming the more saying "I'm going to bed because the turkey made me sleepy" becomes legit.
3: Murder your neighbor Fargo style and fertilize your backyard with his remains. Or just park your car on YOUR property and tell him to shove his view of the street up his ass.

Rule #3 has a terribly terrific appeal. Mmmm. Fargo.
