- Dislike/Hate; This can range from annoyance to flat out hatred. While Hope will most likely never instigate a fight, watch your step around him if you're erring on the hatred side, or he'll show why l'Cie are feared on his world.
- Acquaintance; Hope knows you, but he doesn't have much of an opinion on you yet.
- Friend; Hope likes you. He isn't sure how much he can trust you, but he enjoys your company and will certainly help you if you need it.
