(no subject)
sorry no update lately. I've been sick and stuff. Too bad, I know I cooked something yummy a few days ago, but I can't remember what it was...
A few of our cherry tomatoes are ripening, and the Amish Paste tomatoes are next in line. We've also got a few tentative little ears of corn coming along.
Josh and I prepped a bed for beets and spinach a couple of days ago. I'm going to plant soon and see if we can't get a fall harvest.
And tonight I baked a whole bunch of beets and potatoes (Caribe and Rose Finn), so we can make various salads and such over the next few days.
Oh yeah. my two little yarrow plants are putting out tons of new growth! They've seemed almost dormant up till now, so this is good. I ♥ yarrow. My creeping thyme and Roman chamomile are also trying to take over the garden... which is exactly what I wanted them to do. :)
Speaking of herbs, I wish I could remember where I found that stand of bearberry a few years ago. I could really use it now, but all I can ever find is partridgeberry. :(
