I would not presume to imply that I know more than your present mentor, nor that I possess any precious gems of knowledge beyond that which he knows.

Then again, I would not deny such a supposition, either.

My schedule, with the start of school, is once again crowded. Research never ends, however, and I am not averse to possibly expanding your knowledge and my understanding by spending an evening 'talking shop', as you say.

Presently, my research is focused on various methods and ingredients used in pain-relief of all sorts. Unless you have a different area of questions and interest, we will assume our discussion will begin there.

Well my current area of focus has been alteration: insubstantia potions, water-breathing, levitation etc. But considering most of the potent mixes in that particular genre are controlled substances, I'd best find something else to expand into, lest the ministry end up wanting to putting a collar on me. I'm well-familiarised with all the household healing potions, but beyond the 'graduate' level as it were, my experience rapidly tapers off in most areas. I don't want to get too specialised however.

Perhaps sometime early next week? Tuesday or Wednesday would be best. I'm going to be a little disorganised this weekend and I wouldn't want to try and fit in what amounts to an intellectually intensive engagement around all the other things requiring my attention at the moment.
