Good heavens has it really been that long?!?
Yes, it's now almost Christmas, and, I've not made an entry since September! I almost made the whole year and kept my resolution to make at least one entry per month, but, alas, it was not to be :(
I have a good excuse, though, I've been suffering from short term memory loss brought on by what I thought was carbon monoxide poisoning...boy...was I wrong.
Picture it...evening, just after a family get-together, it's been a long day and the hubs and I are relaxing, watching tv in bed. He turns his adoring gaze in my direction and begins singing a Christmas carol.
"My finest gift I bring...TOOT!". This was apparently an hilarious thing, as, he then becan to cackle evilly as my eyes watered and I rued the day I got over my cold and stuffy nose. Just as I was recovering from his 'serenade', He sang the next line, "shall I play for you...toot!..."
Now, if that's not class I don't know what is! No...seriously, what is it? After that barrage, I was sort of woozy and disoriented, which, was also extremely funny for him. I think I'll grow to miss the days when he won't announce the impending noxiousness by breaking into song first, lol. Still, can you imagine songs for other holidays? "Let me call you sweet-TOOT!" or "Here comes Peter CottonTOOT!"
On the plus side, the fart machines I bought for his male family members were a big hit at the family get-together.
