sorry, been busy
wow sorry i haven't updated in forever guys. here comes a long ass post:
as you may have noticed, my layout has changed often, as much as 3 times a day haha. that's cus i recently became a mod at a community called _premadelayouts. basically that means i'm designing layouts to offer to all livejournal users who join the community. so i've been really busy doing that on top of work, school, and my lovely girlfriend kayleen. if you're bored with your layout, check out the community, i'll be posting my layouts up on there either today or tomorrow.
nothing too exciting has happened this week, just busy doing work. last night i went to a mexican restaurant with kay called su casa. it was pretty good considering its not my fav food, and we got a fried snickers bar for dessert haha so good. ok so like a week ago we were supposed to register for housing, which we did, but somehow it got screwed over and they didn't get it. we didn't get a lottery number, so our chances of getting housing dwindled. we were worried, but we entered a second lottery with 9 other groups going for 4 rooms left in the mountainview dorm. tuesday we got our lottery number for housing, and it just so happened we were the last group to be picked for housing, meaning all housing on campus was taken except for one room, and we were lucky enough to get it. i feel bad for the dozens of kids that now have no housing but i was so happy to get it. we checked out the room we'll be living in next year, and the location and everything is awesome, we're gunna have a lot of fun. it's a suite style so there's 4 bedrooms, a living room, closet, and double bathroom (2 of everything). we're basically in our own little hallway secluded from everyone else which is awesome, and we're the closest room there is to like trash and laundry so our lazy asses won't have to walk anywhere.
this weekend was lots of fun, spent a lot of time with kayleen. we went to new haven and walked around. here's some pics from a park we went to:
