No Turning Back...the Countdown is ON
Well, I just submitted my dissertation to the Dean's office. There is no turning back now. My final defense is scheduled for March 20th. For those of you unfamiliar with the process, this means that the document is completed and my committee agrees that it is ready for me to orally defend. So, on March 20th I will present my research and answer questions related to it. If the committee agrees that I have fulfilled the requirements, then I submit the final doc with edits resulting from the defense to the graduate school. The final step is walking on May 6th.
Izzy update:
He is officially crawling; up on both knees and elbows and he is fast. It is amazing to watch when he gets to a side of the room that he hasn't been before because he is so curious. His favorite non baby proofed items are the cords by the tv. I think he takes after gonzo's obsession with electronics. The last couple days have been great, he has been chipper and giggly and energetic. Lets hope he stays healthy and happy (at least for a little while, we need a break from the colds).
