Despondency
The past week or so I have been feeling less than enthused. I am mid way through July, and the lack of prospects in the employment field is really starting to bum me out to the point of lethargic lackadaisical inactivity. Only when there are large crowds of really energetic people do I feel more or less like my usual abnormal self.
The very profound absence of art teacher jobs in the Cook, Will, and Lake County areas, which are all in relative acceptable commuting distance (about an hour to an hour fifteen to the school from my home, by car or train). I would prefer to stay near the city of Chicago... however I think I may have to look towards farther pastures in and near the state.
I think this is the second time I am bitching about not getting teaching jobs....
Maybe I should just go sling overpriced java...
