Southern Adventist Uni, what a concept, 3 hours away from my girl! Scholarships are a hard thing to get but when your Aussie they become a bit eaiser to get, so i'm told. So the waiting game begins. Its going to be so cool to rock up on the doorstep of Mandys house and say "Surprise, here for a whole year!!" But we'll see what happens. But i dont think i know what i'm getting myself into. Having a look at the way the place is run it looks WAY conservitave, have a look at stuff NOT to bring when you go to southern Uni...
Items to leave at home:
Firearms/weapons
Pets (may have small aquarium with fish but no rodents or reptiles)
Fireworks
Dungeons & Dragons (and similar materials)
Inappropriate posters/decorations
Water pistols
Dart boards
Beds (including waterbeds)
Jewelry
TV and/or VCR
Hmmm... you can see its a SDA conservitave place. But i think i'll have fun, i'll kepp you all poseted on my progress.
