Well, the X-Files season finale was an insult of truly George Lucas-ian proportions.

Holy fucking crap, one of the worst 42 minutes of television I have ever seen. I must come to the internet to voice my outrage.

If they'd spent these 6 episodes maybe telling one story about the end of the world, then it could have been good. Instead we got... I'm not even sure what that was. 42 minutes of badly written science squeezed into... a gigantic screenturd. It was just completely incoherent.

And apparently we were supposed to take Mini-Mulder and Mini-Scully seriously, because they appeared again in the finale? And... seriously? SERIOUSLY?

If there is going to be more X-Files, it needs to be taken away from Chris Carter. But I don't think there will be any more, Gillian Anderson has been... unkeen on doing more, barring 'exceptional circumstances', like, I suppose, if there's a coherent script.

But then Agent Einstein was clearly there so they could continue the X-Files with the Mini-Me's.

And chemtrails? Seriously? Chemtrails?

Which I suppose sums it up. This X-Files reboot was made for people who believe in chemtrails.

Complete and utter gobshite.

/ rant.
