Dear Financial Aid,
Seeing as it is October 13th, and well into the school year, and I haven't received my financial aid, I have decided to burn down the financial aid building. Because everyone who works there is so incompetent, I have not bought any books for my classes, but that's okay, because some time this week, my classes will be "terminated" due to failure to pay tuition; probably around the same time I get evicted from apartment. You have made it so easy for me not to register for another semester here at FSU,I really appreciate you making it, quite literally, impossible for me. I'd like to thank you for supporting me in my effort to lose weight, because with the help of you holding my money hostage, I haven't been buying groceries. You're all so thoughtful. You inspire me, really you do. Without the role you have played in my college career thus far, I would not be so motivated to pick up and leave Tallahassee and Florida State all together. Oh, and about my work study check, you know, the one you postponed for two weeks, you can just keep it. I've been surviving without it this far right, so who needs it? I decided to personally hand deliver this letter to you, because we all know the drill when it comes to faxing paper work. Clearly it is rocket science to read and file papers that are detrimental to each student, so out of the goodness of my heart, I decided to make your job even easier. At this point, I am not 100% sure any of you can read so I will personally read it aloud for you. Thank you for your time, I'm sorry I have interrupted you during work, I know you're all quite busy down there. I really hope you can catch up on your sudoku, cosmopolitain, facebook status, etc.
Love,
Elizabeth Gonzalez
p.s. No I will not give you my social one more effing time!
