I never said that Jotaro was open with his homosexuality. I just really do not get the impression that he loved his wife at all. And loveless marriages aren't uncommon.

Well you say that but the way I see it, and this is pretty dumb I'm aware but bear with me.
Theirs was like Love and Marriage (if Jotaro had absolutely nothing in common with Al besides disliking his wife).
First month or so of banging something MIGHT have been there, but after the kid came around she just got more and more irritating and he started to not like her (and besides the Jotaro not being their the mommy irritation may have also made Jolyne hang out with the wrong crowd just to get away). The only difference is since Jotaro is Jotaro he just up in left in storm of silent bad assery instead of dealing with her or slinging sarcastic taunts like a jack ass.

No no, it's a valid interpretation. EITHER WAY, it's canon that he could not reconcile differences with his wife, as even in the "perfect" world Emporio created, Jotaro is still not with Jolyne's mother.

Most of how Jotaro's sexuality pans out just depends on how much emphasis you put on his relationship with Kakyoin, I think.
