I'm trying very hard not to think about the US elections, but it's kind of hard not to. And so it occurred to me that S Palin very easily becomes Spalin, which is quite an obvious nickname for someone with a rather extreme voting past, be they left or right.
And if the republicans win, the rest of the American people can at least comfort themselves with renaming Washington DC Spalingrad, or maybe even Palingrad.
