When you grow up in a place where everyone's about as blunt as their weapon of choice--or in some cases, blunter--deciphering vague phrasing becomes soooomething of a lost art.
And no one likes learning from failure, but if no one's there to teach you, what else can you do?

Then that was a really odd way of putting it.
But in that case, you could always find someone who's done what you need to do, or something similar to it, and learn from them.
Or just do it and learn from your inevitable failure.

I guess I could. I don't want to learn from failure. I've done enough of that already.
