[as the recording begins, there are a few seconds of silence. Those listening closely enough might be able to make out breathing, somewhat shaky breathing. There's the distinctive sound of leather clad hands being clenched, and another few seconds later there's Mello's voice, silent, tense.]
...no way. ...just- ....
[The sound of him getting up, and pacing through the room. The carpeted floor muffles the steps slightly, but they are still clearly audible. A few steps later, a crash can be heard - nothing breaking but, by the sound of it, perhaps things being shoved off a shelf, or a table. The pacing stops for a moment, and then continues.]
....for fuck's sake....
[His voice is sharp with barely repressable anger... and maybe something more.]

OOC explanation for this mess: Mello just found a very, very old post in the archives of the comm, and was spoiled about his and Matt's canon!death. He is currently very much unamused, but feel free to bother him none the less. He'll probably want to kill you over it though, so do not expect any nice reaction in any way.
