Now that the nightmare of Sephiroth's retaliation is over with, there are a few things Zax has been meaning to do... And coincidentally enough, all of them involve going to see his flower girl.
This is why he's heading down through Sector 5 yet again, making his way to the old church with Merodi in tow.

... hey, you look pretty tired. *sits next to her on the pew and wraps his free arm around her shoulders, still holding onto Merodi with his other hand* You okay? Is this a bad time?

*murmurs* My healing spell's ready whenever you are.

*tilts her head towards him and drops a soft, lingering kiss on her lips* Thanks, Aerith. I really appreciate it. You think it'll work?

*She places her hands on Merodi's shoulders, closes her eyes, and concentrates....*

... hey, Yazoo. This is just a thought, and I really don't know if we can count on it so we'd probably better not get too attached to the idea, but... Do you think we'd have a better chance if we could cure the people with Geostigma?

*considers for several moments* ...Were there such a thing as a cure, it would rather dramatically improve our odds, I do believe. ...After all, it is just one more way for her to puppet...
