Sharp and piercing. Shaped and honed to precision to achieve her goals. Versatile, and capable of changing to suit changing purposes. Strong. Capable of withstanding trauma without shattering: altered but not broken. Hardened by extremes.
Water
Able to seek out the path of least resistance. Deceptively strong and patient: wearing opponents down slowly. A necessity for survival, his at least. Inner fire causes her to bubble and boil. Capable of scalding. Never still, even in her stillness.
Wood
So very alive, yet unmoving as she sits in meditation. Withstanding the weather of life by yielding just the right amount. A silent witness to the secrets of time. Always growing and learning.

Intensity and brilliance. Illumination in dark places. The energy to shape and nurture, but also to destroy. A source of comfort on long, cold nights.
