*Looks you up and down with curiosity.*

You are Draco Malfoy's mother.

Your son is a highly amusing young man. I find him most pleasing. I can only wish my own spawn were so entertaining.

He is a good boy. His father and I are very proud.

Indeed. He speaks much of his father. Mr Malfoy is a great influence upon him, I believe.

But forgive me my ill manners. Allow me to introduce myself. *extends hand* Queen Goneril.

*bows to hand*
Your Majesty.. I am Lady Narcissa Malfoy.

Yes his father is a great influence on his life much to my dismay. We will get great things from Draco.

Please, no formality required between two mothers as ourselves. *smiles*

As a mother I have often found it unpalatable the influence my husband has over my children. They were the fruit of my womb, and it was I who suffered and bleed for their lives and yet now they look upon my husband to lead them? One can not help but feel... jipped. *laughs*

Yes indeed. *smiles*

Well it was expected I suppose.. Living as I do in a very male oriented society. Even when I and my sister (tricky_bella) were taught the same skills as the boys were, it seems to make no difference. They'll get theirs in the end.

What happened? If you don't mind the inquiry..

In his old age my father decided to retire. And doing so he decided to split his Kingdom amongst his three daughters... he had no sons. In his wisdom, which was always lacking, he decided to divide the Kingdom according to which of his daughters loved him best.

And of course, with the stakes so high I loved him more than ever.

*laughs*

Of course, once I was Queen... and he was no longer King... *laughs more* The rules changes slightly.

*laughs softly* Ah, had you been from the Wizarding World, you would have made a perfect Slytherin.

Ambition is our distinguishing characteristic. And don't forget cunning.
