Costa Rica
So I´m sitting in the Aguila del Osa inn on the Osa Peninsula here in Costa Rica. It´s amazing here, except that everything is _extremely_ humid. The first few days of this trip have been really cool. We stayed in Tortuguero, which is on the Caribbean side of the country and further north from where I am now, the last two days, and went on a few river tours of the national park there. Toucans! =) We also saw some howler and spider monkeys, plus a few caiman and a crocodile. Today, we took a plane ride from Tortuguero to here. It was very Indiana Jones, since the plane was one of those tiny tin-can six-seaters. The pilot kept joking that he´d need a bigger plane, seeing as how tall everyone in my family is. It´s true, I smacked my head a couple of times. Though I always manage to hit my head in vehicles, even the big jumbo jets. Tomorrow we´re going snorkeling on the Isla del Caño, and that will be our last night here in Osa, and possibly the last time I´ll have internet connection. I can´t wait to get back and write how the rest of our trip went!
