break....but now we're back!
wow its been so long since ive written....oooops! break was nice...it was 2 weeks of pure laziness on my part. definitely didnt get up before 9:30 if i didnt have to. there were surprises abound....like when my mom and my best friends' moms took us out to ihop for breakfast at 12:30 at night...that was a really cool night. moms are so sneaky when they want to be. christmas was kickin....finding nemo is now my very own on dvd!! woooot! but now we're back at school and the stress has set in once again.....finals are next week, and i have so much to do i cant stand it!! break was fun, but i feel no less frazzled now than i did right before break! at least i finished my leadership scholarship for olivet on wed.....thats a huge relief...i thought about and worked on that silly thing for far too long...but now its in the mail!! yaaaay! i started guitar lessons too on monday...that was excitement central. there was only one other guy in the class besides me...and i dont think hed ever played guitar before, but then again the class is supposed to be for "absolute beginners"......ahhh well.....so i was a bit ahead for the class...b/c ive got some chords down pretty good, i just cant put anything together. oh well.....its fun, and i just wish i had more time to practice so i could really be ahead, haha....anywhoozers....hmmmm tomorrow is gene jones day in metamora everyone!! be sure to celebrate appropriately!! (whatever that means...maybe say a few jones quotes if you know any..) the cc girls made some pretty awesome tshirts that were displayed at school today...each had a different jones quote on the front (ex: BRING IT HOME BIG MAN [mark schierer, '87], or the 11th commandment according to jones: thou shalt not walk, or....you bet yer bippy!....or his coming out party was at peoria central....or....put that in your pipe and smoke it!....or....got it got it?....or....quit dinkin around!...or...dont get hyper in the diaper!) haha...theres quite a few there...and then on the back was "merry mr. jones day!".....we went and showed him our creations and he got quite a kick out of them so that was good.....and tomorrow is the big induction into the hall of fame for him, and we're all going up to support so that will be just barrels of fun!! except that means i have to get up semi-early...eh well its jonesy day!! weee! i have nothing else interesting to say or report really......ehhh...oh yeah tonight at lauras we played karyoke revolution...well i didnt play i just sat and watched b/c im a horrid singer....and we had really good singers there so i wouldve been embarrassed to do anything...but someday me and betho are gonna do it by ourselves so we're not intimidated!! lol....except i still would be b/c i cant sing in front of anyone without being intimidated.....i guess thats when i know im at the ultimate level of comfort with someone, when i can sing in front of them and i dont care how bad i sound...lol....ooooh well maybe someday?! yeess...someday.....
