Ok, so I haven't made an entry in a long time. The last time I was on livejournal, I just commented on everyone else's entries! So basically i decided to quit being a freeloader and actually write my own. This is basically going to be the randomest, most rambling entry ever, just so you know.

I am really excited about St. Louis. Hopefully it will be FREEZING there (the weather channel said 38 degrees, "feels like 34" or something like that) and I REALLY want snow. That way I can wear the racoon coat and not feel like an idiot because it's California. Actually, I never feel like an idiot in that coat-- it's my favorite. And I haven't seen my Grandaddy in SO long and I love trips with my dad-- it's pathetic how much of a daddy's girl I truly am. My mom has planned an action-packed weekend and I am excited to paint and "faux-finish" the kitchen with her and my Aunt Laurie, who is a real live artist. Wooooo! And I'm bringing Arrested Development home (Season 3) to watch with Paul. I miss that one-eyed ray of sunshine.

I took my 3rd final today and am basically sick of the whole thing. It's a relief to be almost done, so I'm happy, but honestly, why do we have to have finals? It's the weirdest week ever. I just got one of those giant bobas and I can't finish it, ugggh.

I'm listening to Jesus music that Leggie gave me right now and it's SO good. Anyone want any good Jesus music? Just czeching. Haha, get it?! Like Czech Republic. Well, Citygirl would get it. Well, she probably wouldn't want Jesus music but she'd get the joke.

Gavin's party was very fun. I enjoyed representing Trees and am actually enjoying the blossoming of my freesia bulbs-- I've been waiting for them to actually do something since fall qtr! They are beautiful and smell great, too. Way better than "freesia-scented" lotions and all that artificial crap. I have missed Gavin this week, since we haven't had beer class... Gavin was SO funny at his birthday! Everytime I looked at him he was wearing a different shirt!

Today I'm meeting with Joaquin about my DC internship applications and I'm excited but a little nervous that I may have been doing things wrong. Oh well, I guess I'm about to find out. There is this really cool internship that I just found out which involves satellites and communications. Sounds futuristic... and that's right up my alley. Just like robots. I'm pretty into 'em right now. I'm also wearing my poncho today, which makes me a little bit excited since I totally forgot about it... funny how creative my wardrobe becomes when I haven't done laundry in more than a month...

OH YEAH AMERICAN IDOL IS ON TONIGHT! Here are my thoughts:
-- Out of the guys, I'm putting my money on Ace Young (the hot one) or Elliot, the nice guy. Ace reminds me of Justin Timberlake a lil bitty--especially when he does the falsetto, and he's charismatic. Elliot seems like he really just deserves it, AND he has an awesome voice.
--That guy who sounds like Creed needs to go. Now. And I'm glad Bucky got kicked off. Honestly, who names a kid BUCKY?! Buckley is one thing, but BUCKY had to go. He did sing that "Wave on Wave" song Jewie likes though... I had to laugh.
--I kinda like the kid with the lisp-- he's so cute! AND he had the guts to sing JOHN DENVER in front of like 50 million people. I dont think he's old enough to really contend with the others, but I'm glad he made it this far.

Wow, this entry has gone on far too long. I wish I was in Germany or Spain! But hey, I can at least take pride in having such wordly comrades. How pretentious is THAT!?
