(no subject)
Ok, so this weekend is the big CS Lewis conference down here in Nashville. My big brother Mark, and his wife, Sandy...(you all know both of them, I'm sure) drove down here to attend. They came out the night before the conference to spend the night with me...you know family time. Well, they got here a lot sooner than I expected. Here it is, 10:30 and they are driving around my town of Columbia. I wasn't expecting them until 1am, when I got home. I'm still here at work. With a normal job, I could get off early and make up the time later....can't do that with radio. AND dumb-ass that I am...I forgot to leave a key under the mat. shoot. I told them to call me when they got to Tennessee, if it was early enough, I thought maybe they could come in to the station and wait for me. oh, well. Sandy called me at 9:30 or so to tell me they got past Nashville and were heading towards Columbia. I said, "Well, I'm not going to be there for another 3 hours or so." too funny!
I probably wouldn't have forgotten to leave the key if I weren't pulling 6 hours of sleep in the past 48 hours. *rolls eyes*
Anyway, I'm glad they're here and I can't wait to see Amy, Kimbra, and my former pastor and his wife at the conference...as well as spending time with Mark and Sandy! Thanks Mosinging !! You are the best!!!! (btw, she is the one who gave me her ticket so I can go to the conference)
