JET PISTOL!!!
[The sound of Luffy’s voice echoing through the air is the only warning anyone within the general vicinity of the plaza will get before the body of a certain
awakenedchaos goes whistling pass and slamming hard into the plaza’s fountain. She isn’t dead, but she is knocked unconscious, and is in need of medical attention. If anyone were

He recognizes Yuber from the description Litchi gave him, as brief as it was. Yuber... is protecting Nu?
Robert's brain doesn't have the time to focus on this fact. All he has to go on is that Yuber is there and about to slaughter him. Pure panic or not, though, he doesn't run - he does immediately back off quickly, hands up to show he doesn't have a weapon, doesn't mean any harm, can't fight. As he's doing this he's switching his journal on, surrepitiously as he can, so it can pick up his voice in case he gets attacked... or worse.] Please, Yuber... she's injured. Her lung... it's punctured. [He's still backing away. There is no way he can run fast enough, not with his condition, but he's already put a sizeable distance between himself and Nu's prone form (and the angry demon).] I... did not witness the attack, merely the aftermath.
[More planitively:] Please do not harm me, I was merely attempting to give medical assistance... [He's absolutely terrified and it shows in his features, the way he's cringing away, continuing to put a wide berth between himself and Yuber. He's still worried for Nu's sake, even if she's associated with the demon.
And now he's terrified for his own life. Is he going to die at the hands of this barbarian for trying to help his apparent friend?]

She may not be the fastest sprinter, but Litchi still darts over, making sure to give Yuber enough space so that she herself doesn't get stabbed just for approaching from a blind spot, and slides to a stop between the scientist and the demon.
A quick glance over her shoulder tells her all the backstory she needs: Nu is injured, Yuber is furious, and Robert needs to run. She's sure he means best, but he's in way over his head.
...She's in over her head, for that matter. But still, she has to try, for several reasons.]
Stop! Please, I'm here to help her!
[Robert, please take the hint and run like hell. She's not sure she can hold off an angry for Yuber very long.]

But he knows he'll be helpless. Useless. If they're going to fight, there is nothing he can do. And he's pretty sure he can't stop either of them.
So he attempts to flee. Honestly, he can't run well enough to get very far at all. He probably doesn't even make it out of eyesight range of Yuber and Litchi before he has to slow down, his breath ragged and gasping and audible for all of Luceti. And he's terrified; he doesn't want to leave Litchi to die. His voice is breathless, choked, into his journal as he tries to will his exhausted, trembling body to put more distance between himself and the chaos in the plaza.] D-Doctor Litchi F-Faye-Ling is... f-fighting Yuber at the plaza. Nu has a p-punctured lung. The situation may worsen... D-Doctor Faye-Ling may... r-require assistance. [He might require assistance. But Litchi's in more danger than he is right now, unless Yuber decides Robert is a better target.]

He may not like Litchi much, but he knows her to be a friend of Nu's and she doesn't attack him without cause.] If that pathetic human leaves quickly, he will not be followed. If you're going to help her, then do so.
[And no, swords are not going away yet. You're still in hot water there Litchi because he's not tolerating any harm being done to Nu, but he does know Litchi at least is a friend of hers, and is a doctor and can do something.]

Professor Hastings, I'll be alright. Please, just go ahead and go home. I'll let you know how she's doing later.
[After just a shade of a longer pause, just to be sure she's not about to expose her back to Yuber when he's going to attack, she turns to tend to Nu as best she can. The damage is definitely severe, but she has to determine what to aim Nala's magic at first.
Fractured ribs... that'd be where to start. Her eyes flicker up to where Robert had retreated to, just to be sure he's still getting away, before she gets to work.]

Probably not. But he wasn't attacking Litchi, yet.
Robert continues to back off, up and until the point where he hits his literal physical limit. Unable to help his own weakness, he sinks to his knees on the ground near the meandering river around Community Building Four and just gasps for breath, shaking. He's not even sure if he can get back to Community Building Three right now. Rationally, he knows that he isn't safe here, that Yuber could still find him easily and kill him, but panic isn't enough, even with adrenaline pushing him onward, to overcome the utter ineptitude of his body.
After a moment he kind of curls inward, the actual horror of the situation really processing now that he's essentially paralyzed by exhaustion.] Oh gods, oh gods... [He's murmuring softly, faintly. Probably still audible over the journals, though. Anybody else listening in would hear the faint sounds of the river and the louder sounds of Robert sobbing while gasping for breath. D-Doctor... F-Faye-Ling...

But still, he couldn't leave Nu out here and he didn't want to stay in this area in case Luffy decided to return to attack unprovoked again.] She needs to be moved indoors.
[And he will go ahead and teleport closer to Nu and Litchi, enough to put them all in range so he can take them elsewhere. He's not even going to wait on Litchi's response, his comment is the only warning that he's taking them elsewhere. Don't worry though, Litchi, it's a neutral location. Not his apartment, but also someplace with no other humans. He's just going to take them to room 27 of CH6 since that floor has no humans on it.
Though it may be creepy to have Yuber teleport them all, considering that they all sink into the ground and then come out in the apartment, but it will not harm Nu in her state.]

When Yuber finally teleports the group sans Robert away, the initial mumbling is cut off by an equally nigh-inaudible "...Complete." It's then that she finally glances around for a moment - albeit very carefully]
...?
[Wasn't she still near the plaza a few moments ago? And then that boy that had aided Moro in the past showed up, and...
...
What was that about...? She's honestly more than just a little confused right now.]

She gives a bewildered blink, casts a glance around the room to take in where they've ended up, squashes down the sudden wave of worry that she's somewhere - alone - with Yuber, and turns her attention back to Nu. Swallowing the unnecessary fear, she sets back to her healing magic.]
Shhh... Please, just stay still, Nu. This may be a little uncomfortable for a few moments, but it will speed along your healing time significantly.
[The magic is bound to not feel too fantastic on fractured ribs, but she's determined.]

But don't think that means he isn't watching. He's paying very good attention, he can just pretend not to if that will make Litchi do her work better.]
Reply
...well, she's remaining mostly still, anyway. She'll take a quick moment to deactivate her armor, but that's it. Seeing as she isn't detecting anyone else in the nearby vicinity, and Litchi isn't displaying any signs of hostility, there isn't really any point in keeping it on right now.]
Reply
With a soft sigh, she settles back.]
There. With some rest, you should be in excellent shape before long. But the bedrest is going to be very important; please promise you'll limit your activities as much as you can.
Reply
Of course he knows very well that keeping Nu in bed will be difficult. But then, he's the far worse patient.]

...Or it would be under normal circumstances, anyway. As much as she'd love to go out and retaliate right now, she's not really in any shape to fight. Not even after being healed. And besides, dealing with Luffy might require a bit more preparation, anyway, considering how much he managed to hurt her with so few attacks. So... fine. She'll rest.
For a while. Someone goes stir-crazy way too fast these days.]
