Rust Blaster by Yana Toboso

Finally read Rust Blaster by Yana Toboso tonight. In case you weren't aware, it was the first manga released by the creator of Kuroshitsuji. I suck at reading manga, and usually have to read them multiple times and watch an anime of them to figure out what the heck is actually going on. And this one is no exception. So I can tell you it has something to do with vampires, the moon splitting into two, and this pretty boy named Kei (pictured) who whenever he gets his blood sucked out of him by this vampire guy named Al, he turns into a lance that can apparently defeat just about any evil that comes along. It was very pretty to look at, and had some great costumes and the expected hints of blood "lust" you probably expect from any vampire story.

In case you want to see this thing for yourself, in English, you can find it at Scarlet Carnival. I would have bought it if it was available to buy in English, but it isn't, so there. You can also read a summary of the plot and read the list of characters (and names of their drama CD voice actors) on anime-wiki.
