Nothing says slacking off like LJ memes
Look at your LJ userpics list. If you have fewer than 50 icons, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five icons, pick every seventh one. Although it's mostly a joke that used to go around my school, an integral part of every Steven Seagal movie (or Steven Seagal TV show, Steven Seagal trip to the mall, or anything involving his presence) is when he exclaims "Look out! NINJA!" and proceeds to beat the crap out of fifty stunt men and/or pedestrians.
Ein is quite possibly my favorite dog to come out of any show. I mean, come on. A superintelligent corgi. Hangs out with Ed, too, that's always a plus.
L is not only an awesome character, but one I tend to identify with. A kid who's nearly unparalleled in intelligence, but has no experience interacting with other people, he usually stays behind a computer screen, being present in only a voice. Also, this pic of him was pretty adorable and looked like somebody just stole his sweets.
Osaka wins. Hard. There's not much I can really say, it's gotta be experienced. Oh, and she works great if you make her a macro with Mitch Hedberg bits.
Kimura is wearing a funny hat, and he is hilarious. Most likely trying to impress Kaorin.
Xellos, quite frankly, is badass. He's always in control of the situation, and he knows it, so he spends his time having fun. Granted, this gets him the reputation of being a bastard.
If Xellos ever has both his eyes open, some serious shit is about to go down.
Although it's hard to tell from the crop, this comes from that ever rare Ilpalazzo action shot. Ilpalazzo is quite possibly the most important character in Excel Saga that does the least. Also, because of him, I can't see Tenchi Muyo OAVs without thinking that it's an Across invasion.
For some reason, the text screwed up every time I tried to save this picture. It's supposed to read "AIR GUITAR FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" When I found this picture of Hard Gay and decided it had to become icon, that caption in my head beat out 4chan standards like "you gonna get raped" and even "WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY".
The Violinist of Hameln is a great, but underappreciated manga. It's also a terribly animated, painfully serious anime that screws with most of the characters (even characters which seemingly have nothing to wangst about will be emo). This picture, for example, shows what can happen as Hamel and Raiel travel through somewhere particularly cold: They dress as Local Boy: Pottery Era Man and Winter Lover: Kotatsu Man and proceed to fight to the death over which is superior.
I found this icon back when Air Gear was first being animated. It seemed like a nice picture of Kazu and Onigiri, in their natural poses.
