Still haven't heard from Lang.

Bodies will form a hollow row
Hands turn to ash as wind breaks away
Bodies have crumbled now there’s a beach to play
With waves of hate and foam that’s sour
The blood of the land sinks into the earth
Sandcastles are built while blood fills the tower
What else is there but this humid sky
Where there’s nothing left but land that’s dry
Marked with smoke and blood like sap
From a tree that’s been rooted and raped from the ground
We're in a time where cracked linoleum floors
And hungry suits of velour console my smile
Paint the roots
Shine on green
Starts of all life
Details reflected in broken glass and battered feet
Comes from above this sandy hard sun
The grass is always greener but the skin can never be darker
Bodies will fold and our tears will grow mold
As we smile away and blink ahead of ghosts who died

10 points to anyone (who isn't in my english class) who can tell me what this poem is about. Personally, i thought it was rather obvious. I think this will be the first piece for my keystone project. I'll probably add more to it too.
