Could you guys let me know whether or not I post excessively and whether or not my posts are too self-revealing? I'm not a very private person and I think sometimes I just get out of hand.

Compared to most on my list, you post at a very tolerable rate.

But beyond that, the frequency is of little consequence because your posts, which, I believe, could be revealing (though not overly so because that sort of thing solely depends on your comfort level with sharing), are among the most interesting of my reads.

Aja agrees, looks like...

It may be excessively simplistic, but my sentiment is that, as your expressive medium, Livejournal is entirely voluntary and rather unobtrusive. None of the content--by my estimations--is malicious or demeaning to anyone--it's not as though you're a very inflammatory or injurious person. Considering the prolific nature of your posts, Livejournal appears to be a useful forum and reflective mechanism to you; if others find your content to be offensive or candor fulsome they have the option not to read.

No doubt, there are those who are alienated by your openness, though many seem attracted to it, too

I know they don't have to read it, I was just sort of wanting feedback, you know?

The general consensus appears to be that your entries are quite redeeming and worthwhile. I suppose it's possible that the only people who care to respond to your entries are those that enjoyed them in the first place, in which case the comments would invariably be laudatory. Still, it seems your content and candor resonate with many.

I personally appreciate the sincerity and openness that you practice in your writing; never is the tone distant or detached, almost always you seem so emphatic and involved in your capricious ponderings. I may not relate to every thought ejected from that spry and persistent mind, but at least I shall know what it does think. So if your entries are confessional, I do not think gratuitously so. Indeed, I smile quite often when reading them, thinking how well your writing emulates your speech and how lucidly I picture having a similar conversation with you at your kitchen table. To me that is comforting, and commendable.

You're not excessive.

It's your journal anyway, if someone doesn't like it, or you, then you can change it if you wish or they can jsut deal with it.

I don't find you too personal. I mean it's you so I can't really guage taht either.
Not like you're posting pictures of your ass online or telling everyone your address!
