[music|"Where Cedar Nouns and Adverbs Walk" by The Most Serene Republic]
I woke up at 11:30 yesterday. And hot damn, it felt good!
Finals were soooo easy. Except for chemistry. So my guess is, I'm walking away with all A's and one B, like usual. EXCEPT IT'S NOT IN LANGUAGE ARTS. FOR ONCE. Ugh. Rejoice.
What Josh signed in my yearbook:
"Hannah, what a cool Bible name. You're going to have a kid named Sammuel...etc."
Then I told him that if I was a boy I would be named Sammuel. And we just thought that was the coolest thing ever.
Wednesday:
After school, Emily and Steph went to my house so me and Steph could shave our legs in the sink. Why did I do that? I don't know. 'Cause everytime I do, I always get razorburn and it hurts like a mother. End of. Then we went to Emily's casa to eat and for her to get her bathing suit. Then we mosied (sp?) on over to Devin's to swim and eat more. Razorburn AND sunburn all in the same day. Aren't I lucky. But that was way fun.
Thursday:
Ha. Who got locked out of the house again? YO MOMMA. Well no, not quite. It was me. Honestly. That has to be a record, locked out of the house twice in less than a week. So we went to Emily's mom's school, Coyote Hills to pick up her sister. I realize that sentence sucks, but I can't be bothered to rewrite it. Back to Emily's house, because she's my savouir. And we went through all her school crap, and ate a lot of candy, and my sister is the best because she dropped off her house key for me. Gah. I love her. But we took a lot of pictures too.
I start my first day of work either Wednesday of next week or Friday. And then the week after that, on Tuesday, is my first day of volunteering with the babies! Gah. I'm so excited for that.
We Are Scientists and Arctic Monkeys are coming reallllly soon. And I want to go. Badly. But I'm probably not. AND AND AND Tilly and the Wall is too. But not till July I guess?
Speaking of WAS, I fixed those pesky links down thar.
Every time we meet it’s always love and wine
The trees make our pathetic talk
Where cedar nouns and adverbs walk
With beatles as the backup band, the flightless cheering in their stands
The empty swing sets hushed reprise makes that first language thick as spies
Let’s relearn every vowel and phrase and make it better than before
I think I know what to do
The rules of it are so damn cruel
Now lets make our lips an accident, on the corner of Came and Went
We’ll merge in gymnastic flips and Spirographs
We’ll forget what the future has, we’ll take the day off.
I think we all know the words
But it's so much better if you
listen to it. It kind of sounds stupid if you just read it.
