Li'l Kids!

So, i've mentioned Von Allan before. He's the guy writing the fabulous the road to god knows... comic that just wrapped up its serial run on the equally cool Girl-A-Matic. On top of being an excellent writer and artist, Von is also a very cool guy, so it's exciting to hear that he's got some very good news:

...My first book titled "Li'l Kids" is now available! This is a collection of three short stories from the road to god knows... plus all kinds of extra material. What material? Well, concept art, thumbnail sketches, background writing and the three complete scripts. Plus an essay or two on top of things where I yabber away about how I work! All told it's 88 pages in length and priced at $13.95 US.

I'm releasing the book a few different ways. First, it's available as a FREE PDF Ebook on my website. This is a complete version of the book that you can have for free. On top of it, I'd would be eternally grateful if you spread it around, too. There are torrent sites and the like that I haven't had a chance to upload it to yet.

For those wanting a physical copy, Li'l Kids is also available at a number of online retailers, too! Amazon along with Barnes and Nobles are definitely carrying it and it's probably in a few other places, too. The Amazon links are as follows:

Li'l Kids on Amazon.com

Li'l Kids on Amazon.ca

Li'l Kids on Amazon.co.uk

I should add that the vonallan.com website has been completely redesigned, too. There is a lot more content on it, including things people haven't seen. Lots of my thoughts on webcomics, comic books and the Direct Market and the like. Plus articles like my Xeric Grant Proposal (while it was rejected, I think there's a lot of research in there that some of you will find interesting).

Von is a really cool guy, someone i've enjoyed the heck out of getting to know over the last few months via this crazy thing called the Intarwubs. He's worked very hard on both the road to god knows... and Li'l Kids, and he's also been very supportive of my own artistic aspirations. And he's currently doing what so many of us only dream about - writing and drawing and publishing his own comics, which in and of itself is worthy of support.

So go check out Li'l Kids, or head over to vonandmoggy or Von's website. I promise you won't be disappointed. (And tell him k8 sent you! ;)
