First, my new friend
wadam recently went to New Orleans. Not only that, but he happens to be a pretty darn good photographer, and even better, puts up with all of my newbie questions on how he does it, all with grace and kindness.

I think that it's incredibly important that we remember New Orleans, especially now that the post-Katrina energy has ebbed. New Orleans isn't rebuilt, by any stretch of the imagination. In some cases, the rebuilding efforts haven't even started moving, or are nothing more than a trailer in the front yard of what used to be a house. And, well, we're back into hurricane season.
