in the last few days i've learned...
- Every map i ever own will read 'OhioDICK STATE' on the appropriate page(s).
- If you really want to know the traffic situation, call the local tv station and tell them that you/your wife/your sister is having a baby. (I learned this one from a government official, even.)
- My sister, being my mom's daughter, works in mysterious ways. But she's still pretty damned cool.
- It's nice to be surrounded by family who love and understand you for who you are, and are fine with your am-i-a-boy-or-a-girl-ness without question or issue. (Thanks, you guys.)
- [gaming] Mages and Changelings do not mix.
- ninja_turbo and coyotewatches are still some of my favorite people to create and collaborate with. And they're very generous in sharing of the High Nobility. "But what if they're the High Queens coz he's no longer the High King?" *grin*
- And finally, while i was a spoiled brat about the whole thing while i was there, i'm still very glad that i went to New Orleans and the Mississippi coast over break. I got more out of it than i pretended to, and i treasure those days even though at the time i didn't realize why i was there.
there's one more that deserves special mention, but doesn't quite fit above, as it's not necessarily something i've just learned, merely something i've been reminded of: Surly is very very good to me, and i'm very happy to be with him. (awwwwwwwwwwwwww.)
