Dreams
Originally I wrote this as a comment to Xiphias, but I think I want to put it here where I can find it easier:
I had the most amazing dream on Friday night. I was dreaming that I had to get somewhere to hear Joy (my wife) read Torah. And, as in a dream, although I was trying to walk quickly, I could only move really slowly. So I decided to take a short cut through the local college. A woman in my dream asked me if I was a student there. Here's the amazing bit: in my dream, I said, "No, I already have my Ph.D." This is the first time that I've had a dream like this where, in the dream, I knew that I was totally done, and didn't have that last class to finish up my degree.
(This wasn't in the comment): For some reason, I rarely have dreams that I haven't finished my college degree, probably because that was fun. It's always either high school or my Ph.D. that I have just one more class left to do, except I can't get to it and have missed most of the semester and (whatever stress my brain is working through that night)...
