i got your pet peeve right here
Grrr.
I'm being asked what my top three pet peeves are, and the one topping the list is the phrase "pet peeve." Sorry, if the shit that pisses me off were my pet, I'd send it to the shelter to be put to sleep. I'm just that inhumane.
The other two items that piss me off, in no particular order, are bad grammar and punctuation, particularly in an item (such as a news story) where someone is being paid to edit the mother, and the fact that I can eat right and exercise and lose one pound a month, whereas my husband can give up hamburger rolls and lose twenty pounds.
